Note:

In 24 April 1971, Slovenian judges adopted the Code of Judicial Ethics (October 1972), which was at that time the only code of its kind in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) and one of the few documents of its kind in the world. A new Ethical code was adopted in 8 June 2001, which is binding only on the members of the Slovenian Association of Judges (SAJ). On 9 September 2014, the Judicial Council adopted a position recommending that all judges respect the Code of Judicial Ethics of the SAJ. Code of Judicial Ethics was adopted in 11 June 2015 by the Judicial Council.
